Born in 1924 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Don was raised by his mom, who did a great job on bringing him up, she became a seamstress to support her family. Don always had the most stylist clothes thanks to her. His talent became evident in church as he was growing up.  Never took lessons, sang along to movies, radios of that era. Golfing also came by second nature, he is an amazing double talent.

Musicians in the recording industry and fans agree, that he has one of the best singing voices in the business.{he gives that warm feeling to the lyrics} "I'm not a Soul singer" he says: "I just sing with soul because I don't know any better". He appeared on many TV Shows: DEAN MARTIN,  JOEY BISHOP, JONNY CARSON, AND MIKE DOUGLAS. Lately he performs in Las Vegas.

DON CHERRY was appearing on 15 episodes of the DEAN MARTIN SHOW, also on HEW-HAW, recently at the SANDS in LAS VEGAS, many other benefits, never shy to entertain Presidents

THOSE OF YOU WHO LIKE SPECIAL EVENTS / THIS ONE IS BY INVITATION ONLY; June 17th, 2005 DON CHERRY will sing & play at THE BEN CRENCHAW-WILLIE NELSON & DEARYL ROYAL GOLF TOURNAMENT in AUSTIN, TEXAS. Lucky are those, who will be there. DON will be singing on Friday evening to entertain those, who will be present and what a treat that will be.

Lovely beautiful and both talented artists married for 12 years in love forever. Don had 2 beauty queens as wives, but non holds up as devoted, loving as a soul-mate as Francine,who accompanies him everywhere they go and she is his best promoter. Francine[Bond] showed great promise as an actress even as a young teenager. Coming from a talented Brooklyn family even her daughter[Sheri] tried theater worked In the M&M commercial, the 34th Street play, but young Sheri thought Broadway acting was a hard job: 'you have one chance to get it right in front of your audience, not like in movies, where you can re-do it till its right'. Francine had talent for dancing, singing, acting and took to learn her craft well. Even as a young actress she was high achiever working with great talents like; Walter Mattau, Barbara Streisand, later becoming the producer -director of "GYPSY". The articles she had sent us about herself are amazing. FRANCINE NEEDS A WEB-SITE OF HER OWN, so people can remember her talent and not just being the wife of DON CHERRY, whom she adores . She told us: One day I just realized I'm walking with a Living Legend. My respect for him always been great as my love. She answers all his fan mails tirelessly.
